METHOD

What distinguishes Samuel Nemtanu in his teaching is the combination of musical understanding and physical comprehension and the importance of joining the two in order to serve one's musical idea.

Samuel uses positive communication so that the student feels at there best to understand the musical and physical aspects that will help them in the learning and mastery of their instrument.

Samuel teaches solo and chamber music as well as orchestral repertoire.
Samuel Nemtanu is regularly invited as a jury member, thus can coach musicians for orchestral auditions and solo competitions.

Workshops The Fifth String.

After training in Non Violent Communication, I have found this approach to understanding feelings and needs extremely helpful in interpreting and performing music.

I find the experience of NVC a very interesting tool to help connect to oneself and his/her feelings.
I want to help students realise the importance of learning the necessary vocabulary for naming feelings, both as an artistic contribution and in relation to well-being, through workshops adapted to the age of the group of participants.

The workshops are suitable for students of conservatories, primary and secondary schools, or for groups of adults interested in the mechanisms of feelings through music.
